For Pioneer Day, the primary held a special trek in their honor. We started at the cemetery and Bro. and Sis. Johnson shared pioneer stories of interest to our ward. Sis. Johnson made bonnets for the girls - amazing!!! We then took two hand carts and trekked to the church - which is about 2.2 miles. Not long - but HOT!! I think we found the hottest day this year. It was about 104 degrees!! UGH! When we got to the church, we had a great dutch oven dinner waiting for us and our families. It was a huge success and I think we may have started a primary tradition!
