Oh, HOGWASH!

Wade and Will at the fair by the steer barn. They are eating the fair favorite treat - slushies!!!

This is Chrissy trying to catch up with her pig. That little bugger just wanted to move all over the ring. Chrissy job is to try to "guide" it with the stick. She did great.

I know we must seem desperate for entertainment in these here parts, but this is Erin, Cassidy, Kennedy, and Maddison getting ready to pig wrestle. They love it and like to do it at fair. Someone fills a pit with slippery betonite and rub it all over the pig and then the girls have one minute to catch the slippery pig and put its butt in the barrell in the middle of the pit. They didn't win this year, but they had loads of fun!!

James with his prizes of the Pee Wee sheep lead. He was SOOOO proud!!

THis is James getting interviewed. They ask question like the name of the sheep and what it eats and such. He just loves being part of this each year. We really had to search for a tame lamb this year - but "Crayola" did it for us this year. He won his class and got reserve overall.

THis is Erin and Justin at the hog show. It is at night because pigs generally don't like the heat of the day. This year it was chilly all day - but you never know. The kids did great - and all the pigs made weight and sold at the sale on Saturday. Now we will do our record books and see if we want to this again! We are still recuperating from a LONNNNNG week.

I was so thrilled with their sportsmanship and willingness to help each other.
