Memorial Day to Remember
Last night Wade and I realized that we have never had ALL of our kids home for Memorial Day. Justin and Chrissy are usually gone for the summer by then. We had a GREAT day! We planted the garden on Saturday - so we could play guilt free!
We started with breakfast at the Fire Hall. It was fun to see friends and have a yummy breakfast where I didn't have to do the dishes. We then loaded our car and headed to Thermopolis to swim. Robin and Alice followed us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the warm water. The pool didn't have many people there - it was perfect. We then went to Pizza Hut for lunch before heading home.
We got home and cleaned the house. We had a BBQ with the Nicholosons and Goulds. It was lots of fun. Lots of food and fun for everyone (except Erin who reminded me there was no one for HER to play with!). We had smores in the firepit for dessert and it was such a hit! I'm afraid we found a family favorite. (Are there low cal marshmallows out there?)
We went to bed exhausted and felt like we had a great day. Thanks to all friends and family.
