New Chicks
We are the proud new owners of 12 (it was 13) baby chicks! Wade wasn't thrilled. I was. I have got three children who LOVE to check on them often during the day. We did have a rough lesson about not manhandling them too much (yes, the one) but after Erin recovered, we are doing well again. They are all different colors so our eggs should be fun colors too. We are hoping no roosters snuck through either - we don't do well with mean roosters. William is terrified with anything that moves, so I am hoping this little project will help him out. This is one true benefit of living in the rural area of the world! We should get eggs in the fall.
