Call it silly, but the remains of my neighbor's tree was a tear jerker. Due to a sidewalk plan in town, this old tree in our neighbor (and cousin's) house had to be removed. It took two days to demolish this old tree that I have enjoyed for 10 years. It took two semi loads and a dump truck to get rid of it. It was such a majestic cottonwood tree. Wade's Aunt Marilyn wonders if it was used in the ol' west for hangin' criminals. It was a tree that lived through a lot. We figured it was around for 200 years - if you count the rings. It was such a landmark tree in our neighborhood. I will miss it.
