Growing How?

William had his 18 mo. check up on Monday. He is 28 pounds of health. In the 80th percentile in height and weight. (As square as they come). He didn't like the nurse or the shot - but he is done for a while. Yippee! What a blessing to have healthy kids.

James turned 5 years old on the 9th. He was so excited. He got cowboy boots and hat and a rope and a cow head to practice his roping on. (We still need to find a bale of hay to put the head in. It's plastic, by the way.) The funny of the day is how he was determining how "grown-up' he is. He came up to me and said, "Yep, I'm growing big Mom. Look." He was pointing to his chest. (specifically his nipples!) Thus began the discussion of girls vs. boys....UGH!

Erin recovered from her bark - and gave it to me. I have been barking for over 6 weeks now. UGH! It's getting better - but not in time to enjoy Christmas or New Year's or....... Justin and Chrissy were here for Christmas. We enjoyed them. I'm now with the challenge of getting them to buckle down and take school serious again. Chrissy started BB - and loves it. It's fun to see someone work so hard at something she loves.

Wish me luck!
