Happy Birthday James!

Do you see this adorable face?  Seven years ago he joined our family and we have been on quite a ride ever since.  I have a feeling that that is exactly how life will be for James - quite a ride!

We started the day opening presents and then went sledding this afternoon.  The kids loved to be dragged around on the snow and Grandpa Robin was willing to do just that.  Wade started a fire in the pit to warm fingers, but due to the cold, we had hot chocolate and birthday cake inside.  The kids had a ball and it was fun to be with  cousins.

James is such a delight to have in our home.  What a joy.  He keeps me on my toes with his curious personality and questions.  He loves life and everything it has to offer.    He literally soaks in every minute.  We call him our puppy around here- if we don't keep him busy, he will "chew" on something and find his own projects to do.  Some are better than others, I promise.  We love you James!  Happy Birthday!
